The First Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 Trailer Is Hilarious Fun

We've known for a while that the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph would bring our title hero into the internet, but now we have our first look at the adventure, and this is going to be great. The first trailer arrived this morning and it gives us a look at some of the hijinks that Ralph and Venellope will be getting up to when Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck it Ralph 2, arrives this holiday season. If this trailer is any indication, this movie is going to be absolutely hilarious. Check out the trailer now.

The trailer opens on Litwak's Arcade where Mr. Litwak from the first movie, again voiced by Ed O'Neil, as installed a Wi-Fi router in his arcade, which is now accessible to the video game characters as it is plugged into the same power strip as the other games. This results in Ralph and Venellope making the jump from the arcade world to the world wide web. We don't really see anything about the film's plot, which may be the reason Disney is calling a two-minute long trailer a teaser, as all we actually see are a handful of random encounters, including eBay as an actual live auction house, and a small child playing a simple mobile game with some horrifying, but hilarious, results.

While the plot of Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2 isn't mentioned we do know that Ralph and Venellope enter the internet internationally in order to find a piece the Sugar Rush arcade needs in order to be repaired. This might be why the characters find themselves at ebay, as they need to win the piece at auction. We also don't see any returning characters in the trailer, though Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch are expected to reprise their roles as Fix-It Felix Jr. and Calhoun respectively.

Fans were probably skeptical of a movie that took place within the world of video games when Wreck-It Ralph first came out but the movie created an amazing virtual world and told a fun and entertaining story. In a similar vein, Ralph Breaks the Internet could have gone wrong in so many ways. A quick look at The Emoji Movie shows just how bad it could have been, but this looks to take that premise in the right direction. The jokes are actually funny.

Disney doesn't usually make big-screen sequels but it looks like they found a good enough reason to make this one, as I for one can't wait to see how Ralph breaks the internet. Wreck-It Ralph 2 hits theaters this Thanksgiving. Be sure to catch up on everything we know about the new movie.
